Wounded Veterans Dinner

 

Event Details

 

The Arlington- Fairfax Elks Lodge Veterans Committee is hosting a Friday Night dinner this coming Friday August 21, 2015 for severely wounded service members and their families. We are asking volunteers to prepare side dishes (i.e. potato salad, pasta salad, cole slaw, baked beans, dessert(s)) for this event. 

 

We also need volunteers to help with setup and cleanup, and be on hand to provide any assistance needed for our special guests. 

 

If you would like to provide a homemade side dish, you are encouraged to do so even if you do not plan to volunteer at the event.  If you would like to participate in the event, we are asking for a $5 donation to help cover the cost of beverages. 

 

If you're interested in volunteering for this event, you must contact Linda Gardner no later than August 17, 2015.  Linda can be reached at 703-636-6392 or via email at lgardner9@cox.net.  Volunteers should plan to be at the Lodge no later than 5:30 PM, Friday, August 21, 2015. Our special guests will be arriving between 6:00 and 6:30 PM.
